Okay got the same problem in autodesk 3ds max. when i import the .obj file or the fbx file its just roughly showen, like its just the basic mesh. how do i change it til it looks like on the pictures above?
O-kayyy... you're new at it. .fbx & .obj are the mesh, the .tga are the maps you have to combined in a material with the material editor. Then you have to apply the material to the mesh. >>>>> Google.
I did it but when the new material is applied to the mesh there are black parts.... so for ecample the cannabis mesh. I applyed the texture to the material and put it on the mesh. Worked, but it doesnt look like on the pictures above, there are black parts where normaly should be nothing!
Your material has to be "2-sided" & allow "transparency/opacity/alpha". And of course don't trust the preview window, you have to watch the final/realtime render. If it's still black then the import failed somewhere.
Thanks! But i for me the leaves are rounded and not like leeves i donno what i did wrong but it looks simplyfied and udk dont want to open the obj file what do i have to change in udk?
I don't know UDK so Google is there.
