Hey,

First of all great job, amazing work and some great portfolio! Keep it up.
I have a question, I am trying to render some plants in Marmoset, and I am having the biggest problem with the alpha/transparency/translucency "Thing". I simply doesn't work.
In your pack you have the translucency TGA, works perfectly, but how is it connected with the diffuse/albedo? where does it go in order for the plane to start showing only the required shape

Thanks in advance!

For the texture itself, the alpha/opacity goes in the alpha channel of the diffuse/albedo map (RGB-a).

Then you have to activate the transparency in Marmoset:
- in marmoset 1, it's just a little below the "Specularity" options, it's a slider with 2 checkboxes (Use Alpha Testing, Use Alpha-to-Coverage).
- in marmoset 2, it's at the very bottom, there is a "Transparency" tab, select "Cutout" or "Dither".

And voilà!

But for the translucency, it's not required anymore. Some people asked for it, but now my plants don't really need it.
The effect is "included" by default.

Thanks A LOT! That worked like a charm! I was confused by the alpha and how to implement it along with the PS. Now it works! You ROCK! Thank You!

you didn't understand that is a 3D fern pack ;)
There are the object file with the textures.
You have to use a 3D software (3dsmax, blender, c4d, crazybump or else) to make a render with the point of view you want.

If you want a cool free realtime 3dsmax shader you may want to check out the xoliul shader...

Another good free 3d model viewer is the 8monkey lab's marmoset toolbag...

Marmoset has some cool post effect stuff too.
