Why in DS Studio there is a noisy border around your meshes?

Because the 3dsmax viewport is crap.
Uncheck the "premultiplied alpha" & lower to the minimum both blur options too for the maps you load in the diffuse & opacity slot.

I want to use these for a game in unity until I am able to create my own assets. I will credit you :)

BTW how do you get your assets to look so good? What I've noticed is that most video game foliage is fairly crappy if you get close but it still manages to get photo realistic at a distance.

Well, it mainly depends of the engine & the quality/compression of the textures:
- my textures are 1024 but in games they are a half or a quarter smaller;

- the graphics/engines are all differents, light is calculated differently in all of them. Plus there are polygons limits; humans/PNJs are way more important than plants & other environmental props.

It's all about compromise (size/quality/quantity/time/price).

Would you ever consider expanding on some tropical foliage? I would ask for a commission but I don't have that kind of money at the moment. I use .png and standard sizes for my own images are 1024 pixels.
